Monday.

 I have to say what day it is.  As I forget.  The visitor of the day was the District Nurse who came to redress my ankle's pressure sore.  She said what she had done was working.  I didn't look.  She left me with a box of stuff so we could repeat the treatment as she wont be back till after the New Year.  I didn't get excited just said thank you.

We went to the Prom but I was defeated by the cold.  I sat in the car. And breathed through the open window.


Tomorrow the days begin to lengthen.

I still chuckle when I think of something someone said in the first lockdown. 'Why do they bother with weather forecasts on the telly? They could just tell us which day of the week it is instead.'
