Friday 26 February 2021

It is with great sadness that we have to say that Jill passed away on 23rd February at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Jill's wish was to donate her body to Aberdeen University Medical department, however because of the pandemic this hasn't been possible. Instead Jill will be buried in a woodland setting at Clovery Woods of Rest near one of her favourite castles at Fyvie. The internment will be attended by close family.

Please raise a glass or two of red to remember Jill in your own way.

We request that rather than sending flowers, instead make a donation to the New Arc or Willows Animal Sanctuary in Jill's name.

Could this be Spring?

Not sure whether this is working or not.

Sunday 21 February 2021

Dawn Patrol.

The DP (Dawn Patroller) is back on patrol.  Thought you might like to see what he sees.

I managed out of the car today.  Weather was fine, sunny and no big wind.

Oystercatchers and Turnstones.

Tonight's sunset.

I may not be blogging every day for while as I am struggling .  See you soon.

Friday 19 February 2021

Friday.

A carer visit day.  Went well.  Now clean!

Very windy again.  Not freezing.  And the sun came out.

Two fishing boats returning to harbour.

The DP went for a walk round the harbour.

These are the big fishing boats.  And a Harbour Seal.

The DP took some photos for me as I was in the car due to the wind.  The Gull Gang.

Some lovely poses from the Oystercatchers.

Todays Prom dogs.

Paddling.

Sunshine on Tiger Hill.

Across the bay to Cairnbulg is the Lookout.  A house I love.  It is on the way to the harbour there.  Where there still is the baby seal.

Just wish the wind would drop.

Thursday 18 February 2021

Thursday.

Another windy day.  I am going to have to get on with Pulmonary Physio exercises as no walks in the wind.

Prom dog of the day.  I have a soft spot for Beagles.

Fishing Boat manoeuvring into the harbour.

Colourful Surfer.

Tiger Hill.

The cat we feed twice a day was tonight happy to eat with the patio door open.  Hmmmm.

I seem to be sorted for next week .

And of course it is windy tomorrow.  Sheesh.

Wednesday 17 February 2021

Wednesday.

Well the wind came back.  So back in the car for me.

One thing for sure I am never going to get up there!

Todays Dogs on the Prom.

Surfers out too.

Now I have a problem.

Next week the DP has an appointment for an MRI scan on his prostate cancer.  Previously a friend has come to stay with me.  But that is not allowed under the Corvid restrictions.  He will be away for at least three hours.

So I will contact Social Services to see if the care company can help.  This has never been a success in the past so I am very anxious.
