A Summers day - in May?

Sunshine.  No wind.  Warm.  = Weird.

And out they come.

As do the boats..

Fishing boats and Lobster boats.

Some interesting beach sculpture.

As always lots of Gulls.

Including one very hopeful.

A friend and fellow artist came to visit today.  So I did a lot more talking than painting.

I also got my new pencils delivered and did a lot of drooling.  And planning.....

Best May day ever.

So now I know where our sunshine went.. what a glorious blue sky. That hopeful seagull won't have long to wait.

Just look at those sharp pointy pencils!!!

A whole new world in a tin!!

I have some too, and also a big box of soft pastels. The rainbow of colours alone is enough to lift the spirits on any day.

I love your photos and art works.

Enjoy your weekend with your new loot.

Sounds like a lovely day, sadly whilst the sun came out the temperatures didn't rise here, still quite cold.
