The weather was still good. I went for my walk. The sea was calm.
No Sea birds on the beach.
No wind so these workers could do whatever they were doing.
I did more on my painting of the Rook.
Almost finished.
Our problems with the internet. Alex fromBT finally visited at 6.30 p.m. Alex is classed as self employed. Sent to us by B.T. Alex has been going since 8 a.m. this morning. and finally got to us at 6.30 p.m. Alex has fitted us with a new router. I hope Alex gets back to his family soon. What is this country coming to when a young man is out for hours sorting out the problems for BT? A privatised company. I despair.
However. The good news. Before Alex sent by BT arrived I had a visitor who came with an invitation to Drinks. On the 6th January at our neighbours.
This is Saint Columba's Church. Now a private home. Just down the road from us.
We will be going.

Beautiful.
I think Alex from BT probably does quite well if the BT service is as bad as it sounds. They probably use him as an independent contractor so they don't have to pay him overtime!
Your determination to go for a walk each day encourages me to plaid on. The house you are invited to for drinks looks interesting. Enjoy and I'd love to see inside.
Would love a peek inside St Columba's! xx
