Sunday.

 Really cold.

Last night we saw the Aurora.  The DP took the photos.

We do not have outside lights and you can see why!  You get to see more of the sky.  So our house on the left.  To the rear is the Aurora green light.

The lights 'dancing'.

Amazing is it not.

Today we went to the Prom, of course, but I was abandoned as the DP  had a photographic society  task.  They were photographing the independent shops.  So he got the chariot out of the car and left me to it.

I did a short walk only as it was bitter cold.  I came to a lean on the railings spot and breathed.  Looked down and there was my earring!!  No idea how that happened.  All fine.

Little boat and big boat.

Very grey day.  As I said bitter cold. No wind or rain just freezing.

Surf School.

Chatting to a friend who's wife is a specialist school teacher so moves around schools.  She had corona virus so all the schools she visited had to close for a while.  He and the family all had to isolate.  I do keep hearing of cases now which I haven't up til now which is scary.

On the way home another stunning sunset.

Mixed bag of a day.  Glad to get the pair of earrings back as a pair!  Last time I lost a pair of gold earrings was way back when we were camping in a tent on Whitby cliffs.  Evacuated by the coast guard, but thats another story.

Night.

How amazing to see the Aurora Borealis! And your sunsets are also spectacular. What a wonderful part of the planet you live in!

I used to lay on my back out at a camp that I took the youth to and watch the lights dance. I miss that most of all living so far south in Canada.

God bless.

Very envious of the Aurora, must have been because of the cold weather.

I've only seen the lights once and the memory will stay with me forever. You are so lucky to be able to see them regularly.

We've turned out the big yardlight on our Quonset and now we can sit looking through the living room window and watch the northern lights. And see the stars. -Kate in Saskatchewan

What fabulous photos, especially the Aurora - always wanted to see that, but know I will only on tv or in photos. Sunsets are superb.
