Tiger Hill and the Kessock Burn. This is Fraserburgh. My home town now. A long way from the county of my birth - Yorkshire. No miners up here. Apart from moles.
Best of both worlds as we live in the country side but ten minutes drive and we have this view.
A fair bit of boat activity today.
Scotland closes down for two days at Hogmanay (New Year) although the supermarkets are back open tomorrow. But not a lot else. There are no buses. Youngest child visiting and therefore has to be collected from the train station in Aberdeen tomorrow.
My daily drawing. Bit ambitious actually. This will go on to be a painting. Oystercatcher coming in to land, from one of the DP's photos.
I managed to see the New Year in last night probably a first!
Today our evening meal was Pheasant. Very nice too. Apologies to the vegetarians. We had to get it out of the way before youngest visits who is vegetarian, although I am having steak tomorrow.
So this month is already crammed with stuff. Next week Blood Pressure check. Foot lady. Hair cut and blow. 22nd Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Oxygen team.
All good. Happy New Year.

You have a wonderful New Year.
I hope you show us all the painting when you are finished.
God bless.
You sound content today - maybe the good wine, sea air and pheasant. So pleased to see you painting - I have missed seeing your pictures developing.
Did you see the advert on TV - some little device suitable for COPD sufferers to use - I think it might deliver an oxygen boost. Just mentioning but it might not be suitable in your case. The 22nd will come round pretty soon for you - the months seem to slip by quickly these days.
A great start to the year. Keep us posted on the painting front!
Happy New Year.
