Ups and downs but never boring - thats life.

Mixed bag of weather, but fine when it was time for the Promenade.  I was a bit shaky so the DP came with me.

Beautiful.  Not as many sea birds as yesterday, but still a fair few.

Black headed Gulls, now without black heads, as breeding is over.
And my all time favourite  - Oystercatcher.

Just the one, soon there will be lots more.

Redshank.  Another one I like to paint.  The DP took these two.

One of the side effects of the Nebuliser is hands shaking.  Whilst at the Prom I said to the DP, "I think I have Parkinsons....my hands are shaking so much I cant hold the camera steady."

To which he replied, "Ah the nurse told me about that, but said I hadn't to tell you."

Sometimes my sense of humour is a life saver - for both the DP and my nurse.

My ever present Sith cat, sprawled in the sun.

Telling me it is his tea time...

Later, during our evening meal, a different Mum Pheasant with two babies.  She also appears to be fostering a teenager.

Bored?  Never.

I saw baby pheasants here the year we moved in.. about ten of them! And since then not a one.
That beach is so lovely. I can quite see how it draws you to it. Take care Jill x

I've had the shaky bits in the past too from all the Ventolin from the Nebuliser. It will pass. I hope it has really helped your breathing though. Gentle ((HUGS)).

Lovely photos down by the sea, as always. I hope it brings you great pleasure.

Sleep tight (well, for a little bit each hour . . .)

Here . . . we have bats prowling the landing. Deep joy . . . you can tell it's August . . .

Lovely pictures of the birds. There is an artist near our cottage in Scotland called Lisa Hooper - have you seen her work she does a lot of sea birds mainly lino and wood cuts - she has some beautiful books too on printing - DH bought me a copy of one of them for my birthday. I think with your knowledge and paintings you should produce a book too I would certainly buy it.
Hope the shaky hands is temporary until you get used to the nebuliser. You take everything in your stride I think you are quite amazing.

That's all you want isn't it, the shakes but what can you do if it helps.
Tom is coughing a lot more now and we can't walk very far, things do seem to be getting worse, but then I can't expect them to get better.
We do try to laugh at it but some days it isn't easy, you know that don't you?
First we blame the hot weather and now we are blaming the damp, lol
It's great that you have your paintint to focus on as Tom has his tapestry and jigsaws. I remember my Mum just used to sit in front of the tv thinking.
Onward and upward, we can't do anything else can we?

Again, lovely photo's of the beach and the birds. I love the ones of the pheasants to - you are lucky to have them visiting you in your garden.

I like the idea of teenage pheasants! The pheasants that were here seem to have disappeared for now, will probably be back when the weather gets cold

I smiled at the addition of a teenager to the pheasant family.
