Let us talk about the Weather - again.

One thing is for sure you never got bored up here in the North East of Scotland.

I made it to the Prom today.  Hot, not much wind.

Tiger Hill sand dune and the right of the beach.

Left of the beach and the Kessock Burn has taken a big detour.  Instead of entering the sea in a straight line it has now gone left, across the beach and then down.  Nature is amazing.

This wee boy went in fully clothed.  I did not take a photo of his Mother hotfooting over the beach shouting, "  Will you get yoursel out."

Gull Gang having fun.

Back home and in the Shedudio I watched the sky become darker.  Heard rumbling thunder.  The DP switched off the computers and router and phones.  (A few of our neighbours haven't their phone or internet back on since the last storm as BT are being BT.  There is no fault on the line, so how come we have at least three properties with no phone line etc ?)

Then the wind appeared and the rain and the hail and the thunder crashed.

So for those of you are feeling hot here is my video of today's storm.

It lasted about twenty minutes.  Then the skies cleared and the sun came out .

And I watched it go.

So we are quite cloudy now 9.30. p.m. still fairly light outside.  But a bit cooler.  I can tell it is cooler as my ankles and feet are going back to normal.

What I would give for a good storm, so b hot down here today so still no car boot for us this weekend. We've missed out on so many this year because of the heat.

Would you be marooned in your shedudio if a storm should happen to go on for too long? Just curious.

Oh that was a wonderful storm. I love thunder, lightning, wind and rain. It's all the better in the summer when most days are hot and sunny.

That's some wild weather! Any trees down?

Don't blame you sitting tight in the shedudio whilst THAT was on outside! Quite a performance. Glad it's cooler for you now, and I hope your breathing is easier as a result.

The sun seems to have disappeared here, there has only been a short show of sun all week. Hope the steroids are starting to kick in.
