A trip to the seaside, clock and Flora gets her head back.

To the Prom after lunch.  So hot, but a welcome breeze.  Not enough to upset the sea.

So calm, you could see the clouds mirrored as if it were a lake.

Lots of boats to-ing and fro-ing.

Fishing boat.

Mackerel fishing boat.

Larger fishing boat.

Pilot boat.

Way out on the horizon.  This is the Admiral Nelson.  A three masted Baque built in 1985.  It is a training boat.

The beach had holiday people and a few locals.

I do wonder about people setting up like this.  Have they not checked the tide table.  It is on its way in and can do that rather quickly!

Had a chat with these two Herring Gulls.

Then it was home.

Hands fitted, battery inserted and hung.

And it works!!

More progress outside.

Flora finally has had her head put back on.  This came off during our removal to here.  Put back on and then someone moved her again by lifting her by the head.  We found it in a plant pot......  The DP has now replaced.  I did consider, but doubt it would enhance her, by having a sign round her neck saying DO NOT TOUCH MY HEAD.

I remember years ago when we all used to go down the beach, having to continually keep moving back up the beach as the tide came it. The kids used to like to be right on the shoreline so that they didn't have to walk far on our horrible large pebbles, real feet killers, lol

What a fabulous clock you have now. That is absolutely brilliant.

People never seen to think about the tide. At Pendine cars can park on the beach, and of course there are always the doughballs who park around the headland (near the cave) and go off and do stuff and come back to find their car axle deep in water (or even deeper).
