Friday.

Path man and sidekick came.  Impressed with professional approach.  3-4 weeks wait as they have a back log getting to grips with restrictions.  Quote given and accepted.  Feeling good to have something happening.

As something happened to not deliver our food parcel, reported and yet again got the response from the help number we will get back to you.... So another essential visit to the supermarket.  It was raining.  So I didnt walk.  I do not go into the supermarket the DP does with mask on.  I sit in the car and people watch.

Beginnings of my landscape painting.  Not really into landscapes but as this is one of my favourites I hope to do it justice.

Negative comments - you will not change me so may as well pack it in.  Carry on fine.  I will carry on deleting you.

The landscape painting is wonderful. I can't wait to see the finished project.

God bless.

As I have said before, I love your art. The oystercatcher you finished yesterday is beautiful. I don't understand why commenters
persist in hassling you! Seems to me like somebody needs to "get a life"! I'm sorry. This world has enough ugly stuff already.

Glad you managed to get the paths sorted.

We have cancelled the Gov food parcel 3 times now and also informed the driver who delivers it that we do not want it anymore but it still keeps coming. More or less exactly the same contents each week. I pity anyone who is genuinely not able to go out and lives alone because the contents are miserable.
Of course there will be those who say we should be grateful but no thought has gone into these food boxes.
next week it will go to a food bank if it arrives.
Good for you to add the comment about the trolls.

You may not like landscape painting that much but from the wonderful loose markmaking in this one I think you should explore it more - you may surprise yourself. I don't see any reason why you shouldn't walk on the prom every day - it keeps you healthy and it keeps you sane. Plus there never seemed to be more than a handful of people there even BEFORE the lockdown. There will always be self-righteous morons, the virus just makes them feel even more justified in poking their noses in.
