Monday

We dont actually do bank holidays in Scotland,  the banks and post offices will be closed but nothing else.

The beach was a bit busier but whether thats a side effect of the Cummings saga or what I know not.

That was not me paddling yesterday!  The chariot doesnt do sand.  And I cant move without it.  Plus I weigh just under 8 stone and ....

Grateful returning to harbour.  One of the largest fishing boats.  The Golden Horn puts it into some perspective.

The rest of the afternoon was spent supporting, virtually, one of my children.  Seeing one of my grandchildren who cried when he saw me as he knew sooner or later I would say the words he dreads, "Goodbye".  An 'old' soul so imaginative.

Tomorrow may be very interesting.  My carer is here 10 a.m. til 11.  The firm doing the paving are coming 'before lunch'.  All I need is the rival garden firm who cut my grass appearing and the window cleaner.  Our drive fits 3 cars max.

That's a busy beach? Check out the crowds in the U.S. Will wait with baited breath for tomorrow's outcome - it will be a hectic day for you and the DP!

Hope they all don't arrive at the same time today and you are able to get out to the prom
