As we have yet another supermarket delivery cancelled, this time ASDA, just what are we doing wrong???? The DP was away to shop. But I got a treat as did the garden. Someone suggested Lavender for the new planters and the supermarket had some grown like small trees.
Given a good soak the DP is out again tomorrow and will hopefully get some compost so we can plant them in the troughs. Currently in there to prevent them blowing way. We have strong winds. We also had some rain but then a sunny afternoon. I also like the idea from K.J.Sutcliffe for other herbs in there that smell to the touch. Which reminds me I haven't seen Lemon Balm for some time. The new planters go well with the existing ones.
My walk and what I saw.
No social distancing required. Too cold and windy for most.

I love lemon balm and have plenty in my garden (I've sent you a PM via messenger) lovely looking lavenders - a good purchase indeed!
I wish I lived near you! I have tons of lemon balm that’s spread all over from one plant! I hate to pull it, but it does get annoying...same for catnip( catmint). Beautiful sunny day here but cold..I would LOVE a prom to walk on!
What lovely new planters. Lavender is one of my favourites.
God bless.
They cancel your order if the payment has not gone through successfully.
I am a great fan of lavender it is beautiful dried. Phone the helpline on your government letter Gill you should be getting priority shopping.
You're not having much luck with your deliveries, Jill, how frustrating, I hope something gets sorted for you soon.
Lavender is a favourite of mine and I'll be on the look out for some lemon balm when I'm able. I'm not in a rush to go shopping for non essentials just yet. X
I love the new planters. I see some possible paintings out of a few of the photographs, especially the one of the two birds, one with its wings unfurled.
