Shopping.

Our first online shop from Tesco.  Disaster.  Stuff missing with no substitute.  So many carrier bags I am embarrassed.  So the DP will be back to running the risk of disease again.  But using our own bags and getting the stuff we need/want.

We combined the trip to the shops with a stop off on the Prom.  Our butchers and our supply of milk in glass bottles.  Remembering to take the rinsed out used ones.  Later he had to go to Lidl and get the stuff we needed that had not been delivered from Tesco.

It was warm!

A variety of boats.

The Gull Gang.

The beach.

Apparently I am to be informed by the NHS by Sunday as to whether I am on the at risk list and what I have to do.  I had today phoned our chemist to ask about delivery of my drugs.  No.  Apparently once I have this letter I can insist I get delivery.  Alternative is as is now the DP going in and collecting but this worries him as he may pick up something and bring it to me i.e. an infection.

So Boris has obviously been following his own advice.  Well no as he now has tested positive.  None of the NHS have even had a test.  Wonderful.

One despairs.

Back to the shopping list.

Amazing how the wealthy all get tests but not the average person..same here in the US...
Please take care...I try not to go out to the store..I went one day this week and felt completely CONTAMINATED when I got home...
Shops here are asking people not to bring their own bags fo fear they will have the virus on it. So I didn’t and ended up with TONS of plastic bags, each with about one thing in each.....

Jill, can you get in touch with the church or local foodbank and ask if they have any volunteers who could shop for you? Our church foodbank and volunteers are for the entire community, not just church members. I have been shopping for neighbours up until now; is there anyone near you who could help? I live an hour away from you and could ask our minister if she knows of a group in your area if you like? Stay well and safe.

We need certain items and although ou daughter is very good it's not the same as picking your own shopping. We are a bit scared to venture out in case like you Tom gets the virus, it would probably finish him off. Just hoping it soon goes away but probably a big ask.

Take care you are in my thoughts and prayers. Phone help the aged they may be able to help or advise as you are in the highest category needing help, with or without a letter.

I can almost smell the sea air, which I'm really missing just now. Whenever I feel out of sorts, the shore is where I like to go.
I'm sorry your Tesco delivery didn't contain everything you need and I hope you hear quickly regarding your medication. X

With your lungs I would say that your drugs should definitely be delivered. Letter or no letter.

God bless.

Sending hugs.

As you know, I'm an avid Tesco deliver person, but the last one had some subs and missing stuff, far worse than it ever is. I don't blame you aiming for shops.

The bags are a necessary albeit temporary hygiene measure. Used bags harbour bacteria. You've been unlucky with Tesco,I've only had two issues in 9 years, but I live near to a city.
