One tries to see the funny side but it becomes more difficult.
I went to the Prom.
Not just rain but wind too.
Made it to the railings.
And back again.
Unhappy wet sheep. Some just been shorn too.
The view over the back field.
The Woodpecker on the top is a young one. Dad on the nuts.
This is the young one begging from Dad, who did eventually feed it.
Then the young one came to feed on the ground with all the small birds. Unusual behaviour.
We may see the sun tomorrow although it will rain again.
Midsummers day soon. Then the day gets shorter. Life goes on. Well I hope so.

Not much better down here in South, miserable dark and damp with outbursts of rain. We watch the birds flitting to and fro, no stopping for them when feeding is there?
Be glad when the damp goes and maybe Tom (and you) will feel better.

This weather is really making me fed up, and that's the polite way of saying it. Sick and tired of it to say the least. You were brave to reach the railings with all that wind and rain. I thought it might be a stay in the car day.
Poor baby birds, all fluffed up and soggy.
Love the cat picture, says it all.
We are building an ark here too, so fed up with the rain. No baby woodpeckers yet but much frenetic activity from the parents!
noah called, lol, oh my gosh
I laughed at that one, its been raining here for days! yup,
I hope so too!
Raining here too in the north west. steady, grey, wet, dismal, depressing grey wet stuff.
Enough now :(
Ha Ha to Noah - hope our cottage hasn't floated away - we are going up Saturday to check! I have know June like this before with 3 weeks of continuous rain. Hoping to bring sunshine to Scotland when we come.
It's been grey and miserable here too. Let's hope it picks up soon. X
