The weather won.

Foul weather.  Strong winds, constant downpour of rain and cold.  Liquid gold (oil) used quite a lot today.

All I managed was a shuffle down to the Shedudio in the afternoon for a brief spell.

You can see how dull it is outside.

I knew I wasnt going to be down there for long so had a quick blast from the electric fan heater.  A shame to burn up the stove that the DP had laid for me.  Save it for a longer session.

Not even the birds to watch.  Tucked away somewhere.  No doubt the Sparrow Hawk had been through.

Sith cat decided it was not for him and went back up to the house!

Today is the DP's 70th birthday.  He doesnt look a day older than 69.  He opened his presents and cards.  Friends visited with a bottle.

She had 'its only a sniffle.'  So I removed myself swiftly.  A sniffle is a 'gift' I can well do without.

At the Old Peoples Forum Open Day yesterday the DP spoke to one of the policemen, regarding the constant damage to our hedge and fence.  He advised we get a trail camera.  These film when something moves so trained on the fence we might get a number plate.  So we are getting one.

A Chinese take away for our evening meal.  I find it hilarious that our nearest village now has a Chinese take away in what was once the post office.  The Post Office moved to the village shop.  It is a very good Chinese take away and doing a roaring trade.  There are quite a few in Fraserburgh and we have tried them all, but this one is spot on.

While we were eating Lady SH came to visit.  Sitting on the fence.

So the weather won but still some positives.

Happy birthday to the DP! Rainy here too but not cold, just damp and miserable.

Hardly noticed the outside world this weekend as Very Busy with our Antiques Fair. We had the first frost of the year in the early hours of Sunday morning though, which came as a shock.

I don't blame you for making yourself scarce when "It's just a sniffle" came to visit - don't these folk have any sense?
