Wild windy and wet.

Thursday is shopping day which the DP does.  After lunch we went to the Prom.
Winds gusting to 30 mph.  Hail and rain.  Usual stuff!

I managed to walk,  sideways wind.  So not very pleasant which ever way I went.

Everywhere still wet from previous hail and rain downpours.

The sea was quite wild too.

Surfers like that.

A very large long boat on the horizon.  No idea what it does.  When I first saw it with my eyes I though there were two boats.

Back home.  Woodburner lit and birds fed.  No sign of a rat....  I began preparing canvases for watercolour.  Using this ground.

Been inspired by these photos!

Thursday evening so the DP is away to his Photographic Society.  Living room woodburner lit, Classic FM on the tele - better sound - glass of wine.  Great.

Yes, yesterday was wild and windy - just could not get the studio warm enough to be pleasant so resorted to taking out a blanket too for my lap.The cats joined me and their faces looked quite cross but suspect that was to do with the wind - they both wanted to be out but did not like the blustery wet air fluffing up their fur.
Looking forward to seeing your paintings as they develop xx
