Battling on.

My permanent Tuesday carer is to be the one who has so far been unable to be on time.  So it was her last chance today.  Someone must have had a word and she was only 10 minutes late.  I can cope with that.

Dreich day again.  Rain all morning and grey.  Doubt it makes anyone happy...

So I went to the Prom solo today.  The DP was lighting the Shedudio stove and feeding the birds.

The rain had stopped.  But there was a strong offshore wind.  But I got out of the car.

Describe these scenes.  GREY.

Ahh there they are.  Oystercatchers.  And some Gulls.  Way up the beach.  With the wind no way was I walking up there.  Fortunately my camera was behaving and zoomed in.

Stove making the Shedudio cosy.

Bleak views outside.

There were plenty birds but on this photo one Tree Sparrow on the fence.

Ever hopeful for improvements all round for tomorrow.

Grey skies make us feel blue don't they/
Just take each day as it comes and make the best of it, that's all we can do.
I can feel and smell that log fire from here, lol
Looks so cosy.

Our weather has been monochrome too. Strangely mildly cool and damp rather than cold. I have taken to working inside, warmer.

The fire looks so inviting after the cold and blustery day.

God bless.

Just been catching up with your news - Aberdeen seemed a bit of a trial for you - hope you have recovered now and the results will be favourable for you. Even though your pictures are very grey they are still quite beautiful. Stay warm and well.

Grey and gloomy outdoors but the shedudio looks warm and inviting.
Fingers crossed the carer's timekeeping is more consistent from now on. X

very grey all round the country I think - they say it will improve to colder and brighter for the weekend for here - hope it's the same your way.
In her latter years my mum could only move with a hoist, but had so many different carers that my Dad had to tell each one how the hoist worked which rather defeated the object of him having an hour off caring. Hope your carer stays the same and on time

That fire is such a contrast to the weather outside. Sending hugs and good vibes.
