Have not left the house today. Weather foul high winds, dark and wet.
Joiner visited. Is returning tomorrow to finish replacing door handles and now latches he found were disintegrating. He looked at the fence and will fix it.
I have a local councillor on the job.
My preferred carer came to sort me out.
Got past H on the Christmas cards.
Hopefully better tomorrow.

We are having a very dark and dismal day today but tomorrow promises to be sunny....And I hope yours will be the same!
Filthy weather here too, so I don't blame you for staying put!
Glad the Council chap is now sorted and your door handles and latches AND fence too.
You even got your preferred carer, and your Christmas cards posted, so lots of positives today.
No harm in cocooning for a day or two. Glad your carer looked after you well today. Chin up!
Damp, rainy, windy days are no good for lungs that do not function well. Tom is struggling today.
tomorrow is another day and lets hope its better for you both.

A photo of The Golden Horn with waves crashing over it, was featured on the BBC weather report at lunchtime. Hope both you and tomorrow will be better.
Sounds bad weather up there - we have had the flood warnings on the phone for the area of our cottage -we just have to keep our fingers crossed. Should finish the rest of the cards tomorrow - then delivery begins!
Bright and sunny here, but temperature wise (-29C) much too cold to be out and about. I stayed in where it was nice and warm.
God bless.
We've had rubbish weather too - hopefully today is better - for every one :)
It was dreadful here in the Yorkshire Dales yesterday but maybe a little better today - still, it is December. Soon be Spring.
