Christmas.

I have now completed the manufacture of my cards.  Just to write the damn things and post them.

Tree purchased.  In a pot from Lidl.  Still to be decorated.  I will show you then.  We had the similar tree last year and it worked well.  Although very small to what we used to have.  Last years will be transferred to the garden shortly.

The carer due this morning.  I had a phone call from the Care Company.  The carer has forgotten to renew their certificate for something or another and is not allowed to visit.  I said don't send anyone today I am not up to it.  What do you do?

Go to the Prom of course.

A lovely afternoon.  Bit of a wind.  Cold.  But sunny which makes all the difference.

Pleaides coming into the harbour.  It means the seven daughters of Atlas turned into a group of stars, Greek Mythology.  There you go.

A much smaller boat.

The Gull Gang.

Lots of Oystercatchers.

There is always one.  Freezing cold.  In shorts.

Quite inspired by the poses of the Oystercatchers.

But.  A visitation.  Always welcome.

Ace birdwatcher friend in his camouflage gear!

The Sun sets just after 3 p.m. Roll on the 22nd Winter Solstice.

God bless.

Your card is so perfect and appropriate for where you live and what you love; the red boots or stockings and the star are cute touches.

Beautiful painting Jill.
Re:the carers- it should be the companies job to check (in advance) that someone has the correct credentials at all times - it sounds like they need to get a grip - you cannot afford to be lax in that job, lives can be at stake. I feel for your struggle with them. They need organising.

Gosh, I agree with the last poster - they need to get their organisational skills up to scratch. Sorry you missed out on the carer today, but at least it was nice down at the Prom. I had to laugh at the guy in shorts - all white beneath his jacket - and white socks and trainers. Not good if you fall over in the mud!

I'm sorry to read you missed out on a visit from the carer today. Unfortunately, many agencies have very poor organisation and will not view you as a priority visit if they are aware you don't live alone. X
