Storm Freya seems to have avoided us so far. It did get a bit breezy but the sun shone and it was warm enough for my Spring coat, although I could be running a temperature...
After lunch the DP drove me to the prom. He went for a walk while I was propped up on the railings.
After the Rook departed.
There were quite a few people on the beach.
One family finally managed to get their kite to fly, it has the clouds behind it and it is blue.
The Oystercatchers were showing me lots of different poses. They recognise a fan when they see one!
Back home. Dyson has returned! Beautiful male pheasant who dominated all the females and our garden last year.
This Hellebore has never stopped flowering and there are more blooms to come.
I sat in the dining room watching the sky changing as the sun went down. Beautiful.
Earlier the Rooks, Crows and Jackdaws did their fly past, round and then settled to roost in the trees.
I am off to roost now. Hoping for a better night.

Sleep well. Hope you have slathered Vick on the bottom of your feet! Get Well Soon Jill.
Roost tight and don’t let the bugs bite.Hope you have a restful night, Jill.
How did you know it was Dyson back in your garden? They all look the same to me!
Freya wasn't as bad as one first thought here either, although the ferries were cancelled. Glad you managed to get out and hopefully had a good night.
We seem to have missed the storm too - although we have had grey skies, wind and drizzly weather for two days but nothing as dramatic as the BBC weather and news would have us believe.
Is the pheasant called Dyson because he hoovers up all the food?
Hope you are gradually getting better.

I hope you have a good night. How lovely to sit indoors and watch the sun set. I do like oyster catchers and your photos are great.
