Being teased?

Is never pleasant.  At the moment items of news dribbling in talking of lifting the lock down.  Hmm.

We did an essential shop.  I sat outside and people watched.  Then to the deserted Prom.

Saw no-one.

Only the birds.

What a surprise!  Eider Ducks at the shore edge.  Never seen this before.  Usually out at sea.

Sketch a Day Challenge bit of a disaster.

Must do better.

I should challenge myself to a sketch a day so that I could try and improve. I wonder if the Eider ducks are shy creatures who realise that there is no-one about now, so are coming further ashore.

My memory serves me well - I looked at them and thought "Eider Ducks". Aren't they beautiful?

I can understand your not wanting to have to share the Prom again if they lift Lockdown - at the moment you are safe.

I was thinking, round here all sorts of volunteers have put up Facebook pages, offering to collect prescriptions, do shopping for you etc. I wonder if there is a group in your area, so that the DP didn't have to go to the supermarket and could "stay clean" so to speak.

On TV I saw surfers are still out and about in Cornwall. Perhaps all your surfers will move south so they can keep going

Heep your chin up Jill, it will all be over soon. Take care.

I don't think your pictures are ever a disaster - I love them all Jill. A tasteof the seashore in Scotland.

I have only ever seen eider ducks in Iceland and they were in the harbour but it was very rough weather. I love the deserted beach.
