Saturday.

Windy and wet day.  But being intrepid we made it to the Prom.

I sat in the car for a while - the DP was away walking.  Window down and I breathed in.  The wind was coming from the left and across to the right.

So this photo is from the car.

But then I decided to battle it out.

I was sheltered a bit.  So still a lot of fence on the pics!

Not a lot to see.  Tide well in.  Dog chased off the Oystercatchers.

There I am sheltering from the wind.

Boat going out.

Look closely the surfer is up.

Kite surfers are the only people who like the wind!

Pair of Herring Gulls. (Skurries)  they trample on the grass which brings up the worms.  Allegedly.

On the way home is this wee pond in a field,  Nice backdrop the ruins of Inverallochy Castle.  We have rather a lot of castles in the North East!

Two Mute Swans on the wee pond.

Tomorrow should be better as the wind is forecast to drop.  But I am so ready for Spring.  I have noticed the days lengthening.  But could do with a bit more warmth as well.

Have you ever been to the ruins of Dunnottar Castle. That's my favourite in your part of the world. I've been there several times.

The surfer looks amazing, what an adventure with all the wind.

I'll leave that wind and surf to the surfers! LOVE the castle (we have a few round here too!) Off to check it out . . .
