Well I did it.
Apart from the gusts of wind it was a pleasant sunny day. I managed to get washed and dressed and the DP drove me down to the Prom. He took some of the photos but I managed some as well.
The big boat is anchored waiting for better weather. Heading for Norway.
The red boat has been fishing.
Wild seas and sunny land!
Gull Gang and Oystercatchers. I was so happy!
We became Sunday drivers for the afternoon and visited some of the local villages.
Quite a few anchored big boats waiting for less wind.
A most enjoyable afternoon for me.
Family left this morning. One lot still to land midweek.

The family visits, though tiring, have obviously boosted you.Well done you today.
I'm so happy you managed to get to the prom. It must have given you such a boost. X
You're an inspiration, Jill. You just keep on truckin'.
I feel so much better about you; your being able to get out to your Prom is such big steps in the right direction. Your being able to get washed and dressed puts you miles ahead of me today. Nurse had me do a 6 minute walk yesterday, and for some reason that's left me a washed-out bum today. I really need to get a grip!
Glad you're able to get out again x
That's quite a wild sea, no wonder the ships are sheltering. Good to see you out on the prom.
So glad you were able to get to the Prom and enjoy a drive around too.
Glad to hear you are out and about and the family visit though tiring went well. x
So pleased you were able to get out and check up on the oystercatchers.
Hooray for you getting out to the prom.
Hope today is fine so you can get out again
Glad you got out to see your gull gang, take it carefully - family are lovely but they are exhausting!
Can only imagine how happy you were to be out on the Prom, watching the sea and the birds. So good to see you in your favorite place.
So glad to see you at the Prom. Was worried. I have followed your blog for quite awhile. My father suffered from COPD. A combination of black lung from working in the mines and smoking. I'm sure 20 years working in a factory didn't help. Unfortunately lost him at the young age of 59. That was many (48) years ago. I was only 24 at the time. Now there are so many treatments that they didn't have then.
Just keep fighting. Hard to do sometimes, but you have so much to live for. I live in a small town in the middle of the United States and follow several blogs Kept close track of you the last few days and kept fingers crossed that you would bounce back.
I had heavy duty back surgery a couple of years ago and had almost given up when I finally pulled myself up by my boot straps and went to the YMCA to exercise. Discovered a tennis-like game called pickleball (google that) and I now play twice a week for 3 hours each day. Have lost 20 lbs. and feel great (well, most of the time). Realize you can't do that but each day do as much as you can to help your breathing. Just make sure your down days are less than the ups. Never ever give-up. There are too many beautiful paintings to be done and too many beautiful sights to see from the Prom. Take care Jill, Lin
Well done
