Saturday's Saunter.

Cooler today and a bit of wind. But only 11 mph.  So I went for my walk on the Prom.

Despite the colour of the sea it was very overcast.

Nothing stops the Gull Gang having their wash and brush up.

And here is a Linnet doing the same in the burn.

As promised picture of the Gorse.  This edges most of the fields around here and is excellent for all the wildlife.  Insects can feed and birds nest in it.

I don't think anyone plants it as we have some in our spinney.  Only noticed it today as I was coming back from taking the one above.  I dont normally come back to the house on that road!

How I envy you living so near the sea.

So much to see and ever changing scenery on the prom. I must take one of my walks on our promenade. Love the rock pools.

You are sounding very chipper today! Must be the fresh air and looking out on your beautiful garden.

The Gorse here is magnificent this year. I know someone who makes fabulous sculptures of fish & horses out of the burnt bark after the gorse has been controlled by fires.
