Battling on.

A bad night.  I woke about 7 a.m. to discover the green snake had detached from my nostrils.  Checked the stats and oxygen was down to 40 in my blood.  90s is good and one I rarely get only after a night with the green snake continuous.  Scary.

Battled on.  We went to the Prom.  Not too bad weather.  Cold of course but not windy.  Rained towards the end of the walk.

My aim is to get to the Kessock Burn.  Where the person is stood.  I got there.  Turned.

Then I have to walk back towards the red Buoy which is just out of sight here.

Now you see it.

I stop frequently and lean on the railings.

And take the photos.

Happy to see the Gull Gang.  A small boat.  Oystercatcher.

When I get to the red buoy I turn again and walk back to the car.  As it had begun to rain I got in the car.

The DP had gone to the harbour  He came back and put the chariot into the car and we came home.

Soon be bed time and I am apprehensive as to the night and the green snake behaving itself.
Battle on.

Trying hard.

Trying hard to be upbeat.  I want to go to sleep and wake up and find this has all been a bad dream.  Don't we all.  I see from other posts we hope and pray this immunisation gets done and works.

My happy place still works its magic.

I managed my whole walk today.

Good to see the Gull gang abluting as not many people to disturb them.

Over to the left of the beach my favourites, the Oystercatchers.

Out at sea  quite a few boats.

I have done my usual transfer of money to the kids for Christmas.  Still making Christmas cards....

Trying hard.

Sunday.

 Really cold.

Last night we saw the Aurora.  The DP took the photos.

We do not have outside lights and you can see why!  You get to see more of the sky.  So our house on the left.  To the rear is the Aurora green light.

The lights 'dancing'.

Amazing is it not.

Today we went to the Prom, of course, but I was abandoned as the DP  had a photographic society  task.  They were photographing the independent shops.  So he got the chariot out of the car and left me to it.

I did a short walk only as it was bitter cold.  I came to a lean on the railings spot and breathed.  Looked down and there was my earring!!  No idea how that happened.  All fine.

Little boat and big boat.

Very grey day.  As I said bitter cold. No wind or rain just freezing.

Surf School.

Chatting to a friend who's wife is a specialist school teacher so moves around schools.  She had corona virus so all the schools she visited had to close for a while.  He and the family all had to isolate.  I do keep hearing of cases now which I haven't up til now which is scary.

On the way home another stunning sunset.

Mixed bag of a day.  Glad to get the pair of earrings back as a pair!  Last time I lost a pair of gold earrings was way back when we were camping in a tent on Whitby cliffs.  Evacuated by the coast guard, but thats another story.

Night.

I walked.

Then the disaster movie began!  The zip broke on my coat.  So no matter I was going to be cold.  The wind had lessened and it did not rain.  But it was cold....

I rarely take shelter but today was an exception.  The view from said shelter.

The bay was full of surfers.  Here is one.

A sighting of a very rare pink hot water bottle.

Fishing boat.

At 3.30 p.m. the sun set.

When I got home I discovered I had lost one of my gold hoop earrings.

Now we have a clear and frosty night and the DP is taking photos of the Aurora.  I am cold again as he has forgot to close the patio door.

Better tomorrow????

Wind and Rain. Huh.

Not a happy person.  Second day without a walk on the Prom.

Carer in the morning.

All the above taken by the DP with my camera.  Boats and Surfers.  Kids had an occasional day, inset day,  so were down too.

Then by me.  Again did not leave the car.  Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Battling on with the Christmas Card production.

Still having this feeling of very hot,  but temperature is normal.  I did mention it to the GP and his comment was I wonder what that is about,,,,,,   well so do I wonder.  It is scary,  and no the answer is not an anti depressant , which further research shows it can kill someone with COPD.

Hopefully see you all tomorrow.  Still windy but SUNNY.  YAY

Thursday.

I had my monthly pill to take today.  An hour before food and stay upright.  So no taking and sneaking back to bed....  I hope it works as I may as well write off the rest of the day.  Ibandronic Acid and the one I take twice a day every day Accrete D3 are to stop my bones crumbling.  Osteopenia.  Precursor to Osteoporosis.  Discovered when my spine was fractured and my vertebrae began to crumble.  I now measure 4 feet 11 inches.  I used to be 5 feet one and 3/4.  Weight is just under 8 stone, so I am verboten by the DP when it is as windy as it was today to get out of the car.

So he took these photos.

Look at all these Oystercatchers sheltering.

I took some from the car.

I felt as if I had been robbed.  No walk.  Sea air through the car window is not the same.

Fingers crossed I manage to get out of the car tomorrow.

Quieter day.

Thank goodness.  Stormy winds forecast for tomorrow.  So we made the most of it today.  Raincoat just in case as it had been raining.

The DP had been out in the morning on a photographic jaunt.  Following on from the very successful Art trail in the town.  There is to be a crafters trail.  Also something called a Portfolio of the businesses in the town.  The Photographic Society were therefore taking photographs of the shops, restaurants et al.  Some with their owners standing outside.  When they are posted up I will share them with you. It is all about bringing the town and surrounds together.  So the butchers, the bakers, we have lots of independently run shops.  many of the chain stores have upped sticks.  Along with most of the banks.

The afternoon was our walk on the Prom.

Note the waterproof, windproof over trousers.  Putting them on is some task.  I need the oxygen!

Still murky.  Tide full in and waves splashing over the lower Prom.

Boats going in and out.  I think the above is a Fisheries Protection one.  Be interesting to see what happens after Brexit.

I had a socially distanced chat with a friend walking her dogs.  I hope they do not carry the virus as they do not know about distancing.  Very few others around.  Fine by me.

My happy place.
