Another lovely weather day.
Up and at em was the theme today as I managed to wash my feet, all ready for the 'foot lady'. Did my pulmonary physio exercises despite struggling to breathe.
Then for the sea air medicine.
No idea about the tent. But am really pleased as at the bottom of this photo I actually caught a Swallow in flight! Small things.....
Lobster boat racing home.
Tomorrow I await a phone call regarding the delivery of the double glazed units for the shedudio. Tomorrow is also the only time the DP has to move everything to the back of the shedudio.
Table, browser, everything on the window seat/shelf, bird food tubs, small drawers x 3 to move.
Chairs to move, work table to move.
Stuff under right hand side window seat/shelf to move.
To here.
And left of here.
All the new windows and doors have plain glass, no criss crosses, so a clearer view out.
It will all be worth it.............Poor DP. I have the plan just hope he has the muscle.

Summer is back on.
Hot day.
Despite all the warnings about bad lungs need to stay in in the midday sun - around 1 p.m. everyday here I am. I just dont walk so far!
The smaller boats are checking their lobster pots. The round ball efforts are what floats on the top of the sea and are fastened to the creels. So they are hauled in and the creel restocked with bait and returned into the sea.
The larger boats catch fish. Herring is now coming in - a well loved fish here. Herring in oatmeal is to die for and I am not really a fish lover.
The huge fishing boats which I rarely see as they are gone for weeks at a time catch Langoustine. Most of which gets exported.
Fraserburgh has a fish market at the harbour and the fish boxes go there to be auctioned off. I keep intending to walk round the harbour and take photographs for a blog, but not on a hot day like this.
The Gull gang enjoying the incoming tide.
Back home. Doors and windows open in the shedudio. This pair of Collared Doves made me smile. Obviously have sweaty arm pits!
I mentioned to the DP I had had to get photos of the Stocks off the internet. So when he was driving into town he took these.
'Our' wild Stocks on the sand dunes. Nature is wonderful is it not.

Tootling Tuesday.
Up, hair washed. This consists of me pressing knees on the side of the bath and tilting head. I get very wet as well as hair! Good job its warm everywhere!
After lunch its Prom time. I have to say what a pleasure the drive is, it is only about 10 minutes but all the verges are full of blossom. Cow Parsley, Buttercups, fantastic. Once past the golf course it is 'wasteland' but in it is swathes of self seeded Stocks.
I try to remember to open my car window as I go past, the smell is heavenly.
I will try to stop and take my own photos but it is a fairly busy road. Plus I cannot leap out (ha) and snap a picture.
Quite a lot of surf. But no surfers. Just Gulls on the shore. Tide coming in now.
Lots of juvenile Gulls.
A lone Oystercatcher. They are mostly absent now and rearing their young. Quite a few years we had a pair rearing young in a gravel pit underneath the Tesco sign at the entry of Tescos car park!
One of the shelters on the Prom had the Dogs Trust microchipping dogs, giving out leaflets and weighing dogs and offering water for dogs to drink. As I do not have a dog I was ignored.
A random piece of rubbish.
Which I have to say I feel like. But ! I will get over that one.
Thanks to all for lovely supportive comments. I really do appreciate each and every one.

Been a difficult day.
My hero. This afternoon he was pootling about on the patio. When Peter Rabbit appeared. He chased it! Saw it off the premises. Amazing.
I had a telephone call from Social Services. I answered lots of questions. My request for personal care will go before a committee of multi disciplinary backgrounds. On Thursday. This will decide which of the disciplinary teams will contact me first for an assessment.
I did not enjoy answering the questions as it is depressing to relate just what your limitations are. Plus I get out of breath now, just talking. One of the things he advised was to get Power of Attorney in place. So that either of us can speak for the other. So does that mean my brain goes next?
Apparently the DP will be assessed to see what help can be given to him as my carer. They seem, quite rightly, to be concerned about the carer as they are of the one who feels guilty about them caring, washing, cleaning, cooking et al.
Weather been overcast, cool and spitty. Not done a lot apart from continuing the trio of Oystercatchers, watercolour on canvas.

Sunday - not a sunny day.
Overcast as forecast. But cooler so a smile from me. Still warm though. But not oppressive.
The DP was away for the day on a bird watching jaunt with the RSPB. Up a mountain. I managed my own breakfast.
After lunch I was off to the Prom.
The Gull Gang were chased off by two proper Scottie Dogs, you don't see many of them these days.
In case you are not sure what one looks like.....
My friend and fellow artist paints them a lot and lovely paintings too.
Marie Buchan.
This chap in his mobility vehicle is also walking his dog. Though the dog is in the lead, it is on a lead.
Being very naughty, I began another canvas painting from one of my own photos. Naughty as in I have not finished any of the work in progress, but then I can be naughty if I want. So there.
As I had just got the drawing done the lady arrived to pick and take away the mound of rhubarb we have/had.
We used to give it to a friend who makes marmalade, jams, pickles but she has moved back down to England, so I offered it on facebook and it has gone to a place which assists adults with special needs who have a soup and sweet fundraising event the first Tuesday in every month.
I doubt this woman had ever prepared rhubarb before. She pulled it fine and then proceeded to snap it off into pieces and into the bag. When I pointed out that only the leaf could not be consumed she ignored me and threw over the fence as much as she was actually putting in her bag. I hope not too many people will be expecting rhubarb crumble at this event.
Later on, the DP back and we were having our Sunday evening meal which is always for me cheese and Branston Pickle on toast, I have no idea why, but it is. This appeared.
JESSICA!!!!! RUSTY DUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The DP is thrilled. We now have mice, moles and a rabbit. To add to the list for all the Wildlife lists he does for whichever organisation..
I am just glad the rats have not returned. We are currently over run by baby Rooks being fed frequently with baby birds. But this is nature in the raw. In a rural garden.

It is too darn hot....
So hot today, but as usual as it has been so hot, hits the North Sea (cold) and creates the Haar. So overcast and misty tomorrow, and a tad cooler.
'My' disabled spot was free today. So I parked in it. Got out, to the railings.
That is the sea below, so clear and clean.
The beach becomes the sea-side. No kiss me quick hats. But I am not as comfortable as when the beach is deserted apart from the Gull Gang et al! So no walk, no room for a walk, and too hot for me, so I came home again.
Both doors open and both windows. Not a breath of wind.
Blackbirds being fed, in fact every garden bird frantically feeding young. It is deafening with all the cheeping and cawing, pleas from the kids to be fed.
Part of my patio. The headless statue at the rear is Flora, her head is in the plant pot, just waiting for the DP to put it back on again. Last time he did it someone lent on it and off it came.
This clematis is smothered in buds. Purple flowers.
On the left of the patio Peonies blooming.
And finally, for today, beautiful Aquilegia. Love them.
Still sunny and almost 9 p.m. Not getting dark at night as we head towards Summer Solstice.... When the earth will tip again.

Friday faff.
I wasnt going to post today, but I am as it reminds me what I did today!
Very hot. 26 degrees.
I had to show my ankle to a nurse. Ankle had an infected pressure sore. Treatment going ok. Carry on. So I was late at the Prom and there were NO disabled spaces left. So I parked up, got the chariot out, got as far as the railings, took the photo and then thought oh what do I do if someone parks alongside? I would not be able to get the chariot back in the car.... so I went back and got in the car and came home.
Because of these stupid road works and the blockage of our road.....
And this is why the road is blocked ????
I had to drive twice as far to get to the surgery and the beach and then back again.
Stripped down to me vest I was in the shedudio with the doors and windows open.
Determined to reduce the pile of work in progress did more on the Gannets. Just some rocks to put in the right hand corner.
Then I came back up to the house taking some pictures of the garden.
Amazing flowers this year.
One of the thug Lilac trees. They take over, spread, kill anything within their reach. But the smell is heavenly and wafts into the shedudio.
I love Alliums and we have quite a selection. Here some are next to the Oriental Poppies, still in bud.
And Clematis.
Never had as many blooms as this year and there are two more about to burst forth.
Lots to be thankful for despite all the faff.
