The Hidden Garden, Craigellie House.

November.  Still deserted.

Looking a bit sad.

Some autumnal colouring.

And its harvest time.

There is no one else around to collect the windfalls.  So the DP collected them.

An aerial view of the house with the gardens behind.

Our house is to the North West.

The DP also brought back a bagful of teasels.  Christmas decorations sprayed gold.

A glowing testimony to the Hidden Garden.

What a fabulous place to live Jill, you are so lucky. I bet you aren't bothered by the sound of traffic in the wee small hours.

What are you going to make with the windfalls? I've spent all day making chutneys and think they'd be perfect.
One thing we never see in London is empty plots, so to my eyes it all looks rather wonderful!

What a sad but beautiful place - glad the DP goes there to gather the fruit.

I was looking at apple chutney recipes this morning. I think that is what will happen to the windfalls.
