Tuesday

Definitely warmer.  The snow is melting fast.  But there was still  a cold breeze.

Carers day for a visit.  I am now clean from head to toe.  The grey hair is showing through the red.  Nothing I can do about that!  Prom visit after lunch.

I got out of the car and did a short walk.  Aiming for the patches of sunlight.  

Surfers gathering.  Surf School was due to start later at 4.

Backwards?!

As always plenty dogs being walked.  As always I missed most of them.....

Not got far with ordering new curtains.  The DP has to do the measuring first.  I am never organised to keep things like measurements.  Perhaps this time?

Basically I am just not organised in anything.

Monday.

 What a difference in the weather.  Wind lessened.  Warmer, well not freezing and the sun came out.

I got out of the car on the Prom visit and got to the railings.  Quite a few socially distant chats with various people.  All helps.

Lots of boats today.

Must be fish somewhere.

Surfers were out in force today too.

Some dogs.

No snow apart from where it has drifted.  To the side of some roads including ours.  But melting fast now.  So there are flood warnings.  Not near us.

Forecast tomorrow is good also.  Bring it on!

Sunday.

The DP loaded me up into the car and I went to the Prom on my own.  He wanted shut of me so he could clean the floors.

The snow is going now.  Apart where there are still drifts up the side of the road.

 Still a strong wind as you can see from the wind swept dog.

Waves and a lot of spray from them.

Earlier in the day the DP had gone to Cairnbulg and took these photos of the birds there.

In the middle of the Oystercatchers is a Bar Tailed Godwit.

Curlew.

Better weather forecast for tomorrow.  Fingers crossed.

Wind.

I hate the wind.  It was at 30 mph today gusting to 40 and upwards.  It is banging round the house now.  It moves the snow from the fields onto the road.  A lot of snow ended up in our drive and the DP had to dig to get me out.

The DP went off with my camera and got the birds for me.

On the way home we visited the Waters of Philorth.  Nature reserve.  The DP went to see what birds there were in the reeds.

Looks windy again tomorrow.  

Friday.

 The wind is back.  Whipping up the snow from the fields.  Drifts created and roads covered.

Not the usual garden  bird.

We went to the Prom.  

Yes I stayed in the car.  

I shall be so glad when all this wind and snow has gone.

The Prom dogs dont seem to mind.  But then they can balance with four legs.

No side effects from the jab.  Although I am tired.  Night night.
