The Gardeners have been paid and told we no longer want to have their services.
I have one lot coming tomorrow to have a look and give us a quote. And two others on the list. One lot made me smile when they replied Lonmay was too far. 3 and a half miles ? Oh really! Needless to say they are not on the list.
This afternoon I did my walk. So still, pleasantly warm too. Very overcast.
Sea was like the proverbial mill pond. So what these two were going to do ?
Fishing boat coming back into the harbour.
Gull Gang abluting.
Then a small dog started running towards them.....
6 Spot Burnett Moth on the Thistles.
Back home I opened the drawer with the Work in Progress stuffed. Brought some out and did a bit more to some and binned quite a lot.
Perhaps I should do this more often hiding work and then realising its rubbish......
In half an hour the DP had a tootle round the garden with a garden bin bag and removed more weeds, with no damage to plants, than what occurred here in 2 hours.
And breathe.

Sounds like good riddance to the gardeners, hope the replacement ones get on with the job they are paid for!
"Gardeners'...you use the term loosely. Accepting payment too without a backward glance, they have no shame.
I think the word 'gardeners' can only be applied loosely until one actually sees them working. Hope they didn't do too much damage.
