SPRING!

This is our second day in the North East of Scotland when, dare one say it, it has felt
w-a-r-m.  Okay there's a wind, but a warmish one, not cutting through you like a knife.

Yesterday the DP went off on one of his photographic jaunts.  Four men with cameras, tripods and packed lunches.  They went to the Spey Valley.

They do appear to have concentrated on various bridges, which I suppose you need in a valley, as they do tend to have rivers at the bottom.

Some of the bridges had the fantastic gate houses, or towers, one with doggy gargoyles.

While he was away I was catching up with myself.  (We have some good conversations.)

My bedroom now looks more like an office.....

Printer and laminator, lap top and tablet, bottle of wine,  another notice board......

Today, was still warm, less of a breeze, blooms bursting forth.

Lots of activity in the field across the road.  More sheep.  To replace the ones who have gained the weight for..... in amongst were found two who somehow had managed to get pregnant.  A mystery to all.  So now we have lots more ballerinas, Zumba dancers, all baaing like mad till they sort themselves out.

Me, down the shed this afternoon.  I had totally forgotten how uncomfortable it can be down there when its HOT.  Windows open, opera entertaining the sheep and me, jumper off, socks off, sheep sprawled, and basically producing crap.

The heat has got to me.

Seriously not happy with this.

Spring, bit late, along with my creativity.

Lovely photos from the DP, as always. And - why are you not happy with those hens? I can't understand it. I think they look great. (I have exactly this conversation with my daughter many days. I guess artists are very self-critical.)

Yes we were marvelling at the balmy weather yesterday. It was SO bizarre to have to take one's coat off and just be out in a cardigan!
