A busy day - for the DP.

Weeding, trimming bushes, taking cuttings from the almost dead Rosemary, (took us both 2 hours to find the hormone rooting powder), resurrecting a 'dead' fuchsia, and painting the outside trims to the new windows in the shedudio....

Look closely and you can see the artist in residence.

While some of this was going on I went to the Prom.  For the salt air treatment.

Fishing boat returning home.  Banff registered - BF 432 - but lives in Fraserburgh harbour.  Great things are happening for our harbour.  A new pier is to be built as we have been chosen as the place where the off shore wind turbine bits and pieces will go to and from.  More employment - a real boost for this forgotten area.

Masses of members of the Gull Gang.  The tide was well out.

Primary school pupils from a nearby village joined with one of our community groups who do regular beach cleans.  20 bag fulls.  Well done to all.  They are an inland school and one of the teachers approached me to ask about the different types of seabirds we have and what they were.

I have every intention of finishing everything that has been 'on the drawing board'  for far too long.....but tomorrow I am being painted.  Hair colour way over due.

The DP's final act today was to find Sith cat.  Who he had inadvertently shut in the garage.

Exciting photos ahead of pier being built and big things going in and out.
I always feel so guilty if I've accidentally shut a cat in a room but they never seem bothered

Poor Sith. Hope he was none the worse for his confinement. Love your paintings.
