Sunday 7 April 2019

Sunday.

The rest of the family were travelling up today.  We have 3 lots in Edinburgh and one in Lincoln.

I went to the Prom as usual.

Bitter cold and the tide was well in.

A kite surfer across the bay.  I couldn't see the surfer, just the kite.

A boat entering the harbour.  Swaying side to side.

Don't often see the Prom or the car park this quiet.

Back home and in the Shedudio I prepared the biggest canvas of all.  Thinking Elephant or more local Killer Whales....

The DP has been very busy.

Planting the Escallonia hedge.  Bit more to do.

Some local wag stopped his car to say, "Dont want to panic you but someone has nicked your hedge."  Hmm.

At times like these you take great pleasure in looking at the bits that are done.  Ornamental Cherries in bloom.  The real cherry trees take a bit longer.

At Pittendrum House the cousins got creative.

After having fun in the garden.

The DP went to see everything was ok.  It was.

Tomorrow they are all off to Macduff Marine Aquarium.  The DP is going too.

Thank you for sharing not only your daily life and its set of struggles but your lovely family too.

They look like they are having fun together. My family on dads side are from Lincolnsire - a little village called Marton, south of Gainsborough - most of the village is my family in some shape or form!
