Its a New Day.

Much better weather!  First day open to the public our exhibition.

The DP was off to the exhibition this morning.  He came back for lunch and set up the old printer which continued to be crap.  So the new printer was installed and worked perfectly.  So the required printing was done and we now have sufficient visitor voters for best in show - art and photograph.

He was then able to load up the chariot and I was off to the Prom.  So once there I began to take photographs for your delectation only to find the screen was blank on the camera.  So I phoned him and he came and fixed it.  Wish someone could fix me from all these failures.

Me from the rear.  The DP testing the camera!

Beautiful.  No rain.  Sunshine.  No showers.  Beautiful.

Tomorrow is our second and last day of the exhibition.  So far a great success.

I came home to the Shedudio.  The DP returned to do a bit more printing off.  He then saw the Sparrowhawk, male, outside the Shedudio and filmed it.  If you are squeamish do not watch.

So we are both shattered.  Soon be over - for another year.

Glad you had a good day. I have had the sparrow hawk a few times in the garden. Sometimes I don't see it but know it's been by the heap of blue tit feathers and no other bits.

beautiful photos, I'm glad you're feeling a bit better today, maybe the stress of the big show is starting to wear you down a bit, it is exciting though isn't it,, I found myself back on facebook tonight and saw you had posted ,, have a great sunday!

That's more like it - pressure off over the Exhibition, printer working and you've had sunshine and sea air. All very positive.

When we fed the bird's outside mum's window (she loved to see them), a Sparrowhawk would regularly swoop by and take a victim. Nature red in tooth and claw - they all have to eat . . .

Thrilled all is going well with the exhibition and that it was a good day. The sea looks so calm and blue, it could be anywhere in the world it is so beautiful. The sea has such soothing qualities.
