So the request was a painting of Oyster Catchers.

They are all asleep, thats what birds do, tuck the other leg up to keep warn."

Mum - I had just thought oh god they havent all got beaks. But now accepted,
"Much Better. They look more alive."
No just awake.....When they were not.
For what it's worth, I think it's a fab painting, you've captured their restful poses perfectly!
