Monday.

Start of the week.  Descended upon by the builders who we were not expecting until February.  In their usual Gung Ho manner they cracked on.

The front garden wall was removed.  It has been leaning more and more and we were concerned it would collapse, possibly on to the road and possibly a passing car.  I think they are going to rebuild it.  All removed.  Back tomorrow.  They have laid some footings for the replacement wall.

Also today a visit from the Community Nurse aka District Nurse to dress my ankle pressure thing.  She or one of them will now be coming twice a week, and occasionally will take some blood when the gp asks them so to do.  That is a full blood count regarding this too many red blood cells.  I wish I knew what was going on.

Managed an escape to the Prom.

In my new coat just delivered by the postie.

Two boats and  a Jet Ski.  Scaring the birds.

They came back.

Just the one Surfer.

Oystercatchers on the rocks.

I walked.  Sunshine.  Cold.  Not much wind.  So I did it.

Amazing Sunset on the way home.  4 p.m.

The new coat looks nice and warm - as we get older isn't it lovely that the Postie brings new clothes to the door rather than us to trail round the shops looking for things.

Love the new coat! Good color for you. And also bright and cheery.

The yard looks nice without the wall. A new solid one will be better.

Spring is on the way. Things will be better with the warmth and the sun and the flowers. I am looking for spring here? We do have more light in the evenings. So something will sprout soon. The witch hazels are usually the first to bloom here, to the delight of the bees.
