Storm Brendan

Not at all a welcome visitor.

We went to the Prom.  I did get to the railings but it was scary so I came and sheltered and breathed in the sea air.

The DP took my camera and took the photos.  Three ships waiting the storm out.

Wild seas.

Blackheaded Gulls.

Turnstone.

The Prom vacuum cleaner.

Wind still howling round.

Sleep well everyone.

I think we - being inland - missed the worst of it. A bit squally this afternoon and a sudden torrential bucketing down of rain, but it rapidly faded. Now to wait for tomorrow's re-run . . . Keep safe.

Keep safe. Hopefully the storm leaves as quickly as it arrived.

God bless.

It wasn't too bad here although windy enough to close the A14 Orwell bridge - that causes chaos in Ipswich

It certainly was a rough old storm. Hope you are safe and well.

I flew into Heathrow last night. It was a very wild ride in. Pilot earned his salary in just the last 10 minutes -- of a seven hour flight.
