What next?

People over 70 will be instructed by the government to stay in strict isolation at home or in care homes for four months, under a "wartime-style" mobilisation effort by the government likely to be enforced within the next 20 days. itv news.

Well that should get me out of the fasting blood test.

How are they going to police it and stop us getting to the Prom?

The Guardians of the Esplanade/ Prom.

Very windy again so no walk.  At one point whilst at the railings the chariot set off on its own and then crashed to the ground.  I expected the oxygen bottle to explode.  But it didnt!

Surfing of course.

Heading home good to see new life.  Love to see the calves with their Mums.

Bird watching.  Goldfinches.

Goodnight.

Well at least once it warms up a bit (spring is going to get here sooner than we think) you will be able to get outside and sit on the patio and fiddle around with your plants which should help some.

That is crazy! Who's going to look after all those in their own homes? I can`t imagine this will be workable. Almost half the houses on my street (including mine) are occupied by people over 70.

I don't think you would infect anyone/get infected from walking along the Prom - and as you say, who is going to police it? Down to public co-operation (or fear). We will walk locally as we don't meet anyone when we are out - just the occasional car.

I love your photograph of the cow with her calf - she looks as though she has been rolling in the snow.

Apparently here in England it will be a fine of £1000 and a risk of being arrested for escaping from the incarceration. We're probably going to be allowed in our gardens but no dog walks.
I don't think I'd be risking getting arrested or paying that fine for a walk on the prom!
