Rained here all day too after an almighty thunder storm. Still raining this morning.
My son in Ayr had his log burner going a couple of days ago and mentioned that he needed gloves on when he took the dog out. Not so down here, we could do with some cooler temps and rain.

Dear Jill, yesterday I went back and read the first year of your blog and learned the story of your move into cherry cottage. It was quite a good read and gave me a better background to appreciate your posts today. Hope your garden is in good shape . And I think your shedudio is fabulous!
Oh, all you people talking about rain and mighty thunder storms....stop! I don't want to hear about it. Here in dry, parched California, USA, we would give anything to receive a little rain. ;-)
I'm curious, Jill, are the paddle boarders and surfers required to wear any sort of life jacket?
