My carer came and went. Then the garden transformation team arrived. Three vehicles, plus a trailer and 5 men.
The door into the kitchen. They removed a step which previously had a slope added but was more like a pimple on a giants nose. Not useful. Removed some shrubs. The paving will be extended and make a mini patio and room for the chariot to come out and turn and head off to the path down to the Shedudio.
Some of the removed shrubs. None of these worth saving and there are the same remaining further along the garden. The two pots have chives in and sat either side of the door.
This is the patio at the front of the Shedudio. The new path slopes up.
To where there will be a new patio outside the dining room patio doors. The path will be paved.
I am now getting excited about the transformation. They are back tomorrow and said they would be finished. I shall be thinking of more for this firm to do to get me able to access even more of the garden.
While the men were raising dust we escaped to the prom.
Lots more cars and people.
Boats.
Then this Paddle Surfer. I did wonder if we should call the coastguard as he disappeared round the Golden Horn!
Some Gulls managed to get their ablutions before humans and dogs scared them away.
A Painting I think?!
I walked. Well away from anyone else.
More paths tomorrow?

Monday
We dont actually do bank holidays in Scotland, the banks and post offices will be closed but nothing else.
The beach was a bit busier but whether thats a side effect of the Cummings saga or what I know not.
That was not me paddling yesterday! The chariot doesnt do sand. And I cant move without it. Plus I weigh just under 8 stone and ....
Grateful returning to harbour. One of the largest fishing boats. The Golden Horn puts it into some perspective.
The rest of the afternoon was spent supporting, virtually, one of my children. Seeing one of my grandchildren who cried when he saw me as he knew sooner or later I would say the words he dreads, "Goodbye". An 'old' soul so imaginative.
Tomorrow may be very interesting. My carer is here 10 a.m. til 11. The firm doing the paving are coming 'before lunch'. All I need is the rival garden firm who cut my grass appearing and the window cleaner. Our drive fits 3 cars max.

Boats
Fishing continues. How they self distance I know not.
Paddling. It was not cold. Bit breezy. No sun. I walked. And breathed in the sea air. So good.
Some painting. Tiger at the top. Goldcrest at the bottom.
Very difficult to control my emotions today with the Cummings saga.
Tomorrow I hope to get photos of the garden to soothe my brain if nothing else. I am struggling to carry on with the blog as I have these comments telling me what I do wrong. My Mother is dead. My children are allowed to advise me as is the DP. I do not require someone I do not know poking their nose in. Anonymous so they get deleted just wish I didnt have to read them.

The DP's Foot.
Took a turn for the worse. Pain, increase in swelling and redness. Got an appointment at A&E. You are handed the machine to stick in your ear and take your temperature. If ok you are allowed in. He has returned with different antibiotics.
Here he is posing by the Acer Palmatum which is now flowering.
The weather has been totally foul. Still the strong wind and sideways rain. I spent most of the afternoon in the Shedudio. Sorting and doing some painting.
No Prom visit today. I thought it better the DP rested his foot plus the foul weather. But what a difference in my breathing without that sea air. Been a real struggle and using far too much oxygen and too much gives me a headache. So a bit grumpy. Not helped by the shenanigans of our government. Some may think I have been a bit naughty and tell me so which really does ruin my day so I wish they would mind their own business but that pales into insignificance with todays revelations of Cummings.

Wicked wind.
Living where we do I am well used to the wind. Usually I can cope with it but today well it was wicked. I got out of the car, got to the railings, took a photo and wham I was nearly on the ground. The gusts were so strong. So I went back to the car and breathed the sea air through the window.
The birds face into the wind so you can tell the direction.
Earlier I was painting.
More on the Goldcrest.
Lots of blooms in the garden now, particularly the clematis.
Over the archway.
Up the fence.
Lavender in the new planter.
Hoping next week the start of my pathways through the garden commence so I can get nearer to more of the garden. Which will coincide with us being allowed to go out!! Sods law.

EASING OF LOCKDOWN.
A more sensible easing than in England here in Scotland. Still taking it all in but next Thursday I will be ok driving to the beach for my walk. Yes I have done it every day and I and others still alive to tell the tale. Using common sense. Sadly a lot of people and a lot of politicians have none.
I was pleased, very pleased, to hear good news as I was feeling the presence of the Black Dog. Enough.
The Prom.
Not many people so plenty birds.
Cooler than yesterday but still pleasant.

HOT!
Too hot for me. Lovely at the Prom as it is never too hot there, just right. Unfortunately for me the good weather had brought more people.
Who upset the Gull Gang.
So I was back in the car. trapped.....
Two of the human characters I meet on the Prom. On the right is Tony and Scott, the horse. On the left a chap who wangs a piece 0f wood for the dogs into the sea for them to fetch. And his daughter in the buggy. I have never met before, or even knew of her existence. She was introduced to Scott. But I had to keep my distance.
People mean such a lot to me. A smile, leads to a 'Fitlike?' A wave and a smile costs nothing. The warmth it gives back to you is priceless. The fact they all came to say How you doing and carry on their chat albeit I am sat in the car - lovely.
