Sunday.

Yes it is Sunday.  We went to the Prom as usual and I became extremely annoyed.

I go to the Prom for exercise, sea air, sea birds, see people enjoying themselves, boats.  I do NOT go to the Prom to see this.  Plus the loudspeaker droning on.  Very cross.

Guillemot.

This is why I go to the Prom.  I do not expect to have God thrust at me.  Just let me breathe - in peace.

Forgot to mention that this evening we were watching bats!  The DP got his bat detector thingy out and they were Pipistrelle Bats,  we could hear then with out the detector!  Amazing.

Hi. This reminded me of the dermatologist here in Texas. The television in the waiting room ran nothing but religious propaganda.
Patients who were waiting were captive audiences. I changed doctors. Thank you for your blog. I envy you the location!

I don't like religion being pressed on you at the best of times, but with the added loudspeaker.... awful.

A bit like the Seventh Day Adventists who trap you at your front door with their theories on the afterlife. Personally, I don't believe in an afterlife but I hate to get into an argument with them!

So far the J W haven't found me up the end of the lane, they are always at the big car boot sale, never seen anyone stop and talk to them. Perhaps you could give their trolley things a nudge and tip them into the sea!

I get very annoyed with JW types knocking on my door. Incredibly, we even had them one Christmas Day as we were just about to sit down to dinner. As if that wasn't bad enough, it was freezing cold and they had bought a young child along with them! There is a time and a place for everything and that was neither the time nor the place, as my husband swiftly told them!

I hope today's walk will be much more peaceful for you. X

I am not religious and don't like it thrust upon me either - sorry you couldn't enjoy your fresh air in peace and quiet.

Talking of bats, I found a dead one in the back place this morning, so nudged it out of sight . . .

It does look like the JW stands and while I don't agree with them, I do agree with freedom of speech.. However your prom does look big enough for all, so there was room for you and them..

I expect it was a one off - hope you have a more 'peaceful' visit the next time. Lovely blue sea.
