Overload.
The DP drove us to the Prom. Very windy hence not many people. On a Sunday.
Surfers a few.
A divers support vessel. That's all I know!
The DP has been preparing the house for eldest daughter and 3 sons to visit tomorrow for a few days.
My breathlessness continued. I put some of it down to anxiety. We have our annual visual art exhibition next weekend so a lot of pressure now to have everything ready.
Plus the family. Plus a search for a replacement car.
I am on overload.

Still struggling.
No car hunting today. The DP drove me to the Prom for some sea air. Humidity high so breathing still a struggle.
The kids in the sea were at their football practice. It being the last one before Summer they had been took to the beach for some fun. Swimming, paddling and ending up with a climb up the Tiger Hill sand dune.
Everyone at the beach was having fun. Kite flying.
Being silly on the railings. Bouncing balls.
The DP and friend photographer chatting.
On the sea sailing.
Later in the garden.
Female Great Spotted Woodpecker.
Tree Sparrow.
From Land of the Big Sky Goodnight.

Not a brilliant day.
Struggling again with high humidity. Its like walking through pea soup. I had my Friday wash from the carer. She had to do more than she usually does as I could not raise a flannel! But I was done, clean moisturised and dressed. She said it was going to rain and I would feel better then. Well, yes, the breathing did improve but the trip to the Prom was a waste of time.
Views from the car. I did get out and got to the railings but left the camera as I did not want it to get as wet as I was.
The rain continued throughout the day. Miserable.
I hope for better things tomorrow. Gird up me loins and go look at cars.
But for now.

Thursday
Every day I am struggling with the humidity. Affecting my breathing. However I got to the Prom. Where it was hissing down.
I got out of the car and managed the railings.
There was a breeze but I managed. And breathed in the sea air.
Not a lot to see. But still good.
Home again.
Yes it is July.
Male Siskin having his tea.
The DPs car is now done and he will collect it in the morning.
He had his eye testing this afternoon. Drops in which no-one had warned him about. (Apart from me but he ignored that!) But the optician said it was not sunny so he was allowed to drive home. But it took some time for his eyes to return to normal, but they have now thank goodness.
So Saturday we are going to look at a replacement car for me. I aint fussy. Just something that works and I feel comfy in. Though I do like bright colours!

Strange day,
Just one of those days. The DP's car was into the garage for service and MOT. Which meant he was using mine. I was anxious my car did not throw a wobbly as what would we do then. But it didnt. So I made it to the Prom.
Walked to the railings.
As it was high tide it was nice to see the Gull Gang in front of me.
Skurries. aka Herring Gulls.
Blackheaded Gulls.
A one to one Surfing lesson. The chap on the right was the learner. I really felt for him as he was obviously no good at all. But I am sure he will be one day, but not today.
Not a lot else to see. So I came home.
My friend and fellow artist came so I did no painting. I cannot multitask any more.
Later this bird appeared which the DP said was a Hybrid. Due its part grey colouring. You learn something every day.
This part of Scotland is known, apparently for these and the Hooded Crow. So there you go.
Car hunt commences at the weekend.

The old banger made it to the Prom.
That was me and the car.
Thanks to all for their advice re the leasing or otherwise. We have decided that I should buy a new car. Obviously not a cash sale as I prefer, but no way do we have all those thousands in the bank required for a new car. But a new car should be stress free. I should not have said that.... but. So possibly a Kia as there are great offers on such a purchase. Good trade in for the current car, not much of a deposit required and the monthly payment is less than leasing. Still get repairs under warranty etc. So investigate more thoroughly at the weekend. Main point being at 4 feet 10 can I see out of the windscreen. My current car has adjustable seat and steering wheel.
So today the Fiat drove effortlessly to the Prom. Of course it did.
Walked to the railings.
High tide.
Two surfers.
Black Headed Gull. Although it does have a lot of black on its neck.
And then it rained. Heavily.
Back in the shedudio I prepped some canvases.
I WILL paint tomorrow.
Through the window I espied a Red Admiral Butterfly.
The DP was off this morning to see a rare bird. Not far from us. This is a juvenile Bald Ibis. Native to Syria, Morocco and being reintroduced to Spain. However after some investigation this one turned out to be an escapee from Edinburgh Zoo !!!!!!!!!!!! And they want it back. So if anyone sees it phone Edwin. I have his number.
Weather report. Breezy with some ninja showers. We have the woodburner lit as a tad chilly for July.
I had my full on wash body and hair, moisturised and dressed.
Nae a bad day. Hope yours has been the same.

My car
I love my car. Fiat Punto. 4 doors. Okay over 80,000 on the clock. Regularly serviced and Mot sailed through. But. My garage man said the latest problem, loss of power, indicated it was time to change it. Could be fixed and was. But still time to change it. So. The DP wants me to go for leasing a car. Pay a deposit upfront and then so much every month. The car would be new and under warranty. The alternative is to shell out a few thousand and get another old banger. I dont know what to do and would appreciate any advice. Has anyone done this leasing lark?
Meanwhile me and the Fiat made it to the Prom. Although halfway there there was a change in engine noise and the red light went on on the temperature guage. The DP said that would be the fan which cools the engine stopping working and as it then sounded ok and the temperature indicator went back to normal the fan kicked in again. But another nudge to change the car. I can do without this stress.
It was windy. Nice to see the Gull Gang. But after 5 minutes of being moved about in the blustery wind gusting to over 30 mph I packed in and came home. The car behaving perfectly.
Shedudio in the afternoon. Admiring my Rambling Rector rose.
He rambles up the back fence.
My foot wifie came in the afternoon and my 6 weekly pedicure was done. She makes me laugh. She has holidays every month, or so it seems, and has been recently to Budapest. There is a Buda and a Pest apparently. The things you learn while having your toenails cut.
I am gearing up to start and hopefully complete a painting of a heron the DP took recently.
He had taken three photos of the Heron and had asked for votes on facebook for which one should be entered into the exhibition this month.
These were the other two. The one I had chosen to paint got the most votes. Although one person who shall not be named said I should do all 3 as a triptych.
I am tired. I sometimes think why am I tired I have done nothing today. But then I did do my pulmonary physio exercises. Thats marching on the spot, quads which involves lifting legs with weights round ankles, pole lifts which involves weight on pole(I use a walking stick), sit to stand, arm weight lifting, over head , front and side. The only one I didnt do was the steps.
So soon to be away to my cot, along with Sithcat.
On his blanket. On one side of the bed and I am on the other. Well trained.
Tonights sunset.
Goodnight all.
