Sunny Sunday.

Before winter returns.  Forecast is for ice, ice baby.  But also sun again tomorrow.

I do not enjoy Sundays at the beach.  Too many people, so no sea birds on the beach.  Waay out at sea.  Also lots of dogs.  Nothing agin dogs - its the owners.  Some do seem to bully their dogs, or let them off the lead when they shouldn't, causes mayhem.  And some are just plain scary, but then so are their owners.

This wee chap was delightful.

He was carrying a rock!

Surfers - of course.

Huge ships on the horizon.  Oil/Gas platform supply boats.

Back home the DP was removing and hacking back bushes where the flue for the woodburner will be.  Still a lot more to be pruned back.  Which needed doing anyway.

All the clippings will go over the fence into the corner of the field the farmer  does nothing with.  The shrubs should all regenerate and be better for the 'severe hair cut'.

Meanwhile I painted.  Inside.

Almost finished.

I do love your attention to detail in your pictures.

No sun here, unfortunately. There always seems to be something to see out at sea during your walk, must make it interesting.

Such beautiful ships on the horizon!
I don't like the crowds either, but in winter with its winds, ice and rain - we can't be picky. We like everyone.
