Talking is tiring.

Half an hour with my carer non stop chat.  From both of us.

Then in the afternoon my picture framer turned up to take the Geese painting away for mounting initially. Although I am tempted to frame and keep it.  To sell it will mean posting and I don't like posting glass, and the buyer can choose their own frame and at their price.  Frames always increase the price.
The framer and I kept more than six feet apart to chat.  I had placed the picture for him to pick up away from me.  But am really out of practise chatting and ended up tired out!

Then the Prom.

Wobbly video.  So many sea birds.

Got my walk done.

Been warm today.  Be warmer tomorrow.  Should I wear sandals and not boots?!

What we saw today.

I had to stop the car as the DP had seen something strange.

We drive past this field of ordinary sheep every day.  Today there is this!

Then we spotted this.  I knew there were Dutch Rabbits around as I had seen others photos.  But a first for me.  And where on earth from?  I had this breed as a child, in a hutch.  Pet rabbits.  Not out in the wild!

Prom was a bit boring after that.  More people....

But I got my exercise.  A nice chat with a young man I usually chat to.

Back home we have the excitement of Blue Tits nesting in one of our boxes.

Down the Shedudio.  Still not tidied and sorted.  But heres a crow.

Keep watching.  You never know what you will see!

Still here

Met some friends I havent seen for ages.  Shuffled about adjusting our distances.  Exchanged health news which always bores me stiff.

A friend sent me this . well a photo of.  So I began.  Then made a resolution to tidy and sort the Shedudio as stuff is piled everywhere.

I have no staying power so packed in.

ASDA came up trumps.

A Supermarket delivery.  Albeit at 8.30p.m. and me in me jimjams, the driver said, "You are vulnerable?  But not disabled."  There being no answer to that  I smiled.  Why do I get them?  He was lovely actually.  He has been in the Navy.  The DP was in the Merchant Navy.  I made a discreet withdrawal.  I have heard the story of the Suez canal before.

Lockdown= send for more art stuff.  Delivered today.

Experimenting with black paper.  Hmmm.

Crested Tit on the 'normal'.

Then it was exercise time.

Up and down the deserted Prom.

There were two Oystercatchers.  Who soon departed.

A Crow.

A Fishing Boat.

Bad news about children going back to school.  I have two grandchildren in England so very worrying.

Apart from that its been a good day.

Friday.

Another week almost gone.  Friday my carer comes to wash, moisturise and dress me top to toe.  We both comment on the grey hair I now have as missing my hairdresser.  My carer A is 26.  I am 71.  We get on fine.

She was telling me about a t.v. programme she had watched about the Corona Virus being planned.  I asked, "Herd Immunity?"  " Aye."  "To get rid of all the old folk."

She gave me an old fashioned look.  " It disnae work."  We both laughed fit to burst.

Food boxes.  Still havent had any.  Last night I had a phone call from a Labour Member of the Scottish Parliament's staff,  How was I doing?  I outlined the problem of the food boxes.  This morning I had a phone call from the Council department responsible who has promised to get it sorted.  I vote Labour anyway but every little helps!

Physical and Mental Health.

I did my walk.  Avoided a huddle of small children.  Three families of - hmmm.

No Oystercatchers on the beach nowadays as all are tending to young.  Some as always nest in the graveyards, all that gravel, perfect.  Here is a parent taking a break on the cemetery wall.

I have started another painting.  A group of Gulls.

Patience - more tomorrow.

I could let the whole Corona stuff swamp me and depress me.  Despair.   But what good would that do.  I am better off, ones I love are better off if I refuse.  IT DISNAE WORK.

Still no food boxes

And more time on the phone to the council with no satisfactory response.  So the DP went shopping again.  I cant even establish if we are to get a delivery or not.  Madness.

An Otter begun on the drawing board.

Sanity regained for a while at the Prom.

Not a soul in sight.

DIY for the Left handed.

Is impossible.  So Saith the D.P.

Putting together our new planter/bench necessitated a trip to Lidl to see if they had a battery driven thingy to put the screws in.  We had every tool you could think of but gave them all away sometime ago.  Lidl did!  But so far even that has defeated the left hand.  However we do have some new hanging baskets from ASDA.

Well pleased apart from I must remember to be wary of drips from above.

The Geese are finished.  I contacted my framer who seems to be unaware of anything going on as he said he would come and collect the painting......

The DP had his second appointment of three this week at the doctors for them to look at his foot.  He got the chariot out of my car and then went on to see the nurse.

I had a good walk with plenty to see.

I was amused and pleased to catch sight of a couple and their dog who would have had to drive to the Prom from where they live.  Having had quite a lot of comments against my outings and Prom visits  I took great pleasure from waving at them!

Trips to supermarkets also necessitated as we received no food boxes this week from the Council.  Intended to support us in staying home.  Hmmmmm.  I have reported the absence.  Also the problems we are having with supermarket deliveries.  People far worse off than us.
