Moonday.

Had wonderful sights of the super moon.  But this is a photo, taken by a friend, of the moon behind Kinnaird Head Lighthouse.  The Wine Tower in the forefront.  I can't beat that.

Much better day for me.  The depression eventually lifted and I went off to the Prom.

It was cold, well it is Winter.  Windy but not too strong a wind.  So I made it to the Kessock Burn.  Which is bubbling being in full spate.  Tomorrow if the weather allows I am going to try and walk the lower edge of the Prom, then repeat on the higher to the Burn.  That should mean I am walking to the 1/2 mile again...

The Golden Horn, our beacon for the harbour.

A fishing boat heading home to the harbour.

And a surfer.  Who was very good.  Better than my camera skills.  He was off riding the wave before I got the camera out of my pocket.

Today the DP bought the Christmas stamps and got the one to his brother in South Africa posted.

Our Christmas cards this year are

So here is yours!

Tomorrow I have telephone consultation with my g.p.  Never had one of those before.  But shock, delight, the receptionist was soooooo helpful!    Things are looking up.  And I believe so is the Moon.

Thanks for the lovely Christmas card. I wish I could send you one in return but I doubt it would arrive in time. All my overseas ones are in the mail already.

Thank you so much for the Christmas card.
It is really pretty and I have printed out
a copy to go with our cards this year.
We really enjoy reading your blog and
especially love all the pics of the sea
and wonderful birds. Your paintings are so
beautiful. Thank you for sharing it all.

Thank you for the beautiful Christmas card. The "Not" you added was either overlooked or unheeded here in southeastern New Brunswick, Canada, as it snowed last night and all day here. Very pretty but I was hoping for no snow until at least Christmas eve.

I used to blog but haven't for a long time now. I do enjoy reading some blogs, including yours since I found it recently, but don't often comment. I have breathing problems myself, but not as serious as your COPD. When I was young I had recurrent spontaneous lung collapses that resulted in surgery and, after that, asthma. Mine is a fairly severe atypical asthma, induced by exercise and by cold temperatures; trying to walk when it is cold outside very quickly leaves me out of breath and unable to continue even though I use inhalers. High humidity in the summer and forceful winds anytime affect me the same way, unfortunately. Autumn is my best time of year to be able to get out and walk. So I truly appreciate your efforts to keep walking and doing as much as you can outdoors despite having COPD.

Our supermoon wasn't that brilliant, it was brighter than normal, but not the news worthy moon I was hoping for x
