Today was the DP'S 71 st. Our grandson T 's 8th. And my seventh grandchild was born.
Weighing in at over 10 lbs! All well.
The rest of the day was crap.
Me totally fed up at the Prom. Heavy rain and strong wind. The DP kindly took some photos.
Hopefully better tomorrow. So I can walk......

Windy again.
Torrential rain all morning. The DP had to go out in it and check the gully that the council are supposed to clear and havent done since before 2016. I checked my emails.... and another one sent. This means our garage floods and our house nearly floods and would not if the gully which drains into the field had been kept clear.
The wind, I guess it must be the tail end of the hurricane from somewhere, meant I struggled to get of the car on the Prom without the car door bashing me. Got to the railings. Then back to the car.
Note the ruffled wind blown feathers on the nearest Oystercatcher!
Still beautiful.
My facial bruises are fading, though I think I will have a scar over the eyebrow. Scarface Jill. Ha.
Big day tomorrow. DP is 71, Grandson Theo's birthday too and our new Grandson will appear.
Tonight we had a sunset.
At the front of the house the moon rose.

Saturday.
Horrible weather. High, strong wind.
The DP was away on a photographic jaunt in the afternoon. So a solo trip to the Prom.
Walked from the car to the railings, minus chariot, and took some pics and breathed some sea air.
As expected not many others around.
People or birds.
Back home I managed to feed the birds outside the Shedudio but every day now a real struggle to control my breathing.
Later Skyped eldest daughter and youngest Grandchild, for the moment. Then checked in with daughter number 2 who Monday hopefully presents us with our 7th Grandchild.
So too much to think about so a short post. Have a lovely weekend.

The days ahead.
Are mainly medical appointments. The joys of being old and decrepit. Today I booked the flu jab for the DP and myself. Opticians for me. I have the chest consultant towards the end of the month. Hopefully one of them will get me sorted.
We went to the Prom as always. Which does help.
The Kessock Burn carves out a different path to the sea.
Oystercatchers have a paddle.
Tiger Hill.
A Snail on one of the concrete 'benches'. I left it there and then worried whether I should have moved it to somewhere it could eat?
The boat here is in the lift of the dry dock. Could be being repainted or repaired in some way. Always amuses me to see the big boats above the caravan park.
Our flag which we are very proud of.
Also indicating the direction of the wind - off the sea so no escape. Wasn't too bad today.
Back home and in the Shedudio. Became very excited at this rare visitation of Long Tailed Tits!
The day was rounded off with a beautiful sunset.
Our daughter goes for a blood pressure check tomorrow. Hopefully it will be fine and we are all set to meet our new grandchild on Monday. I might be able to breathe again after that.

Cold.
Been a struggle to get warm today.
We went to the Prom and I walked. But I was so cold I turned to walk back and got in the car.
The Golden Horn and Tiger Hill. One on the left and one on the right. Tide coming in. So cold. I walked and then back into the car.
Back home the Shedudio Stove was sulking due to damp wood. Gave up in the end and returned to the house and put the central heating on.
Our daughter due to give birth Monday was sent to hospital with high blood pressure. They gave her medication which brought it down and she is now home again. She has to return Saturday for a check. All been very worrying. My anxiety affects my breathing. I shall be glad when/if we get through the weekend and Monday.
Back soon.

The Wind Won.
Awful weather. High, strong winds and lashings of rain. I took myself off to the Prom as it didnt seem fair to the DP if I was just going to look and open the window. But when I got down there the rain stopped. So I did get out of the car. The chariot and I went to the railings.
No Surfers today - or anyone else. Quick chat about it being cauld with a dog walker. A Poodle which danced as they do. In a warm coat.
The wind was there though and stopped me from walking. Then it felled the chariot.
I drew the line at that and we got back in the car.
I have a friend and fellow artist who usually visits me on a Wednesday. The DP had baked in preparation. Then half an hour after she is due to land she messaged to say she couldnt make it. She does this occasionally. Surely she knows before then...... Hey ho.
Got my letter through today re seeing the chest consultant. End of the month. In between I have to have a flu jab. The DP has to take Sith Cat for his jabs and check up. I also have to make an optician appointment. Which I am sure he said see you in two years and its only one. Seem to come in threes medical stuff for me and the cat.
Next week may be an exciting one. DP's birthday and a Grandsons. Also the arrival of our Seventh Grandchild. So a bit of a stressful time.
Sure I will survive. I survived the wind today well almost.

Tis Cold.
Winter is nigh. Cold today. Winter coat on. Also rained and a stiff breeze. But I walked.
Tomorrow I shall add the windproof/waterproof over trousers.
Sue in Suffolk, no snow here as yet but the surfers do not let anything stop them from Surfing!
Still a swell out at sea.
High tide with Tiger Hill in the background.
Really needed the warmth after the walk. And got it.
The Medical profession are in action. Heard from the Consultant Chest person - appointment being arranged at Peterhead which is nearer than Aberdeen. Eye test due but I am waiting till more bruising goes around my eyes. And the flu jab - time for.
All of which I am extremely grateful for. We do well in Scotland.
Particularly for the Sunsets.
