Strange day;

A crazy morning.  Halfway through I remembered the song by Flanders and Swann "Was on a Monday morning when the gas man came to call."

Flanders & Swann: The Gas Man Cometh - YouTube

First we had our friend and neighbour's children visit bearing a fish pie Mum had made.

Then the grass cutter came with the joiner for the latter to fit a new patio door panel.  This had been smashed by the grass cutter who strimmed a stone at it.  At the same time ASDA came with our food delivery order.  Social distancing is now the latest dance craze...

And I am trying to get washed and dressed....

The Prom was a repeat of yesterday.  Murky.  The surfer disappeared into the mist.  The Gull Gang appeared.  Then disappeared.

Back home.  Dyson did some posing on the plant trough.

And I started another painting.  This is courtship Skurry style.

One thing for sure is I need to spend longer down the Shedudio and actually get progress and finish something!

  1. We had sunshine, cloudy skies(some iron grey) then a sudden torrent of rain for about 2 minutes!

    Love your new gull painting, and gosh, you DID have a busy start to the day!

  3. We had lovely weather today - which was a delight after a couple of weeks of damp and grey stuff - so we made the most of it and got out! It was a delight :D

  8. I hate days like that, I can't seem to cope with more that one thing at a time now. To think how I used to juggle my day with so much to do and it was not a problem. lol
