Winter is nigh. Cold today. Winter coat on. Also rained and a stiff breeze. But I walked.
Tomorrow I shall add the windproof/waterproof over trousers.
Sue in Suffolk, no snow here as yet but the surfers do not let anything stop them from Surfing!
Still a swell out at sea.
High tide with Tiger Hill in the background.
Really needed the warmth after the walk. And got it.
The Medical profession are in action. Heard from the Consultant Chest person - appointment being arranged at Peterhead which is nearer than Aberdeen. Eye test due but I am waiting till more bruising goes around my eyes. And the flu jab - time for.
All of which I am extremely grateful for. We do well in Scotland.
Particularly for the Sunsets.
Lovely bright winter coat.
ReplyDeleteI can feel the cold looking at your photos. It seems more wet and damp cold here - not good for the old bones! I would have been asleep by your stove this afternoon had I the chance.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunsets recently - the depth of colour is very akin to your bruising!
Your fire looks so inviting. I hope the bruising around eyes is improving. My husband and I plan to visit Scotland in May next year. I am really looking forward to it. We live in Ontario Canada (near Toronto).
ReplyDeleteAmazed to see the surfer's bare feet!!
ReplyDeleteBrrr, there are times I wish we had a wood burner/fireplace here.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
That is a beautiful photo of Tiger Hill and high tide.
ReplyDeleteI really felt the chill yesterday, so it'll be winter coats for us this morning.
ReplyDeleteThe fire will keep you warm and cosy. X
Cold here today - frosty overnight and yes we also have the fire lit. I am not ready for autumn and winter yet!
ReplyDeletestill in shorts here!
ReplyDeleteIt is ten degrees colder here this morning but on the plus side the sun is out and the sky is blue (rained all day yesterday)
ReplyDeleteI love a high tide. Your coat looks cosy :)
ReplyDeleteThat man's feet must be freezing!!
